Farren “Fucci” Jean Andrèa, 26, is the bad-ass style icon we’ve been waiting for. He styled some of the biggest names in the game, including his cover shoots for Paper Magazine featuring Bella Hadid (December 2016) and Rihanna (March 2017). He even walked in Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2018 runway show. Out of this, “hoesthetics” was born.

The “Fucci” (his pseudonym that means fake Gucci) Instagram is like a mood board for the utmost bad asses in fashion. In his own personal style, he mixes streetwear with sexy and refined pieces. His personal style is replicated in the women he styles; you know his aesthetic when you see it.

And when you see it, it all makes sense. No one does it like Fucci.

Farren Jean Andrèa actually coined the phrase “hoesthetics”. The hoesthetics style is about attitude and confidence, not only about what someone is wearing. He wants to empower and liberate women to feel comfortable wearing whatever they want, whenever they want.

He really channels that into his 90’s dominatrix-meets-goth style: black leather, chains and latex. And just because it’s “dominatrix” doesn’t mean you can’t channel a little S&M into your own personal style. Fucci surely does. He even channels his signature style with the latest men’s sunglasses trends.

He proves that even though “hoesthetics” and dominatrix-type fashion might be targeted towards women, men can rock this style as well.

Without all the extra accessories that he adds to his look, it’s just an ordinary outfit – swishy windbreaker pants and a T-shirt. The puffy bomber, silver chains, cross earring, and leather harness, these all enhance his signature style. This is what makes it a true, Fucci original.

Similarly, he channels that same aesthetic into this look as well. The latex pants and black leather harness, the pop of lavender ruffle, and the dog-chain-esque set of necklaces are specific pieces on their own. Above all, he mixes them in a way that is unique to his own style, which is exactly what men’s fashion needs more of.
