Stunning Instagram Photoshops Timothèe Chalamet Into Masterpieces

Published:

Timothèe Chalamet photoshopped into paintings is unreal.

With its ethereal lighting, old Italian buildings, and Timothèe Chamalet’s good looks, you could paint each scene in Call Me by Your Name. This is why Anna, a 23-year-old art student from Poland, created the Instagram account @chalametinart.  Recently, her picture of Timothèe Chalamet photoshopped into Caravaggio’s “Boy with a Basket of Fruit” received insane hype on the Internet.

In fact, it’s what kickstarted the obsession of Chalamet in a series of photoshopped paintings. She even features the iconic peach from Call Me by Your Name in some of her artwork. The photoshop work is so well done that it’s hard to tell that he never belonged there to begin with.

Anna (who prefers a little anonymity in all of this buzz) started photoshopping Chalamet into the world’s most iconic paintings. She tells High Snobiety this is because “to [her], each and every scene of [Call Me by Your Name] resembles a classical painting.”

She further discusses the parallels between Caravaggio’s famous painting and the film. “The movie’s sensual way of telling a love story tied extremely well with the theme of the painting: the nature of desire, lost youth – symbolized by the dried leaves in the painting- and selfhood.”

As the star of Call Me by Your Name, both the movie and Chalamet became almost overnight sensations.

After starring in two Oscar and Academy Award nominated movies in 2018, it’s no surprise that Timothèe Chalamet is gaining buzz all over the Internet. In the same year, he also played bad boy, Kyle, in Lady Bird. Both movies received nominations for Best Picture at the 2018 Oscars. Chalamet was also nominated for Best Actor in Call Me by Your Name.

Despite all his success, his appeal still confuses some people. You could call him the ultimate bad boy with good-boy charm. With his brown wavy hair, chiseled jaw, and soft demeanor, he looks like he was born to be in Renaissance paintings. He’s the one guy that can pull off long hairstyles for men with ease.

Some other noteworthy works by Anna are Chalamet as Michelangelo’s “David”, Klimt’s “The Kiss”, and Magritte’s “The Son of Man”. It’s amazing how much he really looks like he belongs in these paintings.

The account is less than a month old, but it already has a cult-like following. It currently has about 41.6K followers and counting. Trust us when we say, once you look at these paintings, you’ll understand the hype.
